What a week! It’s been hectic adjusting to the time change, dealing with a totaled car, and an angry child who has been sent to day camp. It is our first week back from Spain and our days have already been jam packed.
The Sunday that we came back David and Paula graciously came over and cooked us dinner. They had a pizza cook off and Paula won.
I am also extra excited to announce that Paula will be moving to Portland for good and this makes Fenavo really happy!

As part of getting back in to the swing of things I have committed myself to running in the AM and this is a hard task after coming back from eating cheese and drinking wine day in and day out. So far I have been doing decent and it is so refreshing to run down Willamette where everyone is so friendly and cheerful.
The week was then full of cancellations and rescheduling. Wednesday we were supposed to meet with the community office peeps but I obtained Portland Beaver tickets for me an Ezra. However, some lightbulb fell out and they panicked and cancelled the game. We rescheduled the party at Linda L's for Thursday only to reschedule again for Friday. My mom was supposed to come over but she rescheduled for Sunday (at this moment I am contemplating acceptable dinner venues in Beaverton).
Friday came and we went to Linda and Jeff's dream of a backyard!
Saturday we attended the Organic Brewers Fest where wild hair, inappropriate shoes and guys who should wear shirts reigned supreme...
And later we ate s'mores by the new fire pit with Tia Lali,Ezra, Ryder, and the Neighbors! (sorry Tia no photos made it of you.)
This morning I woke up and made breakfast burritos for everyone and it was nice to have a house full of little ones (and big ones) having breakfast and talking about our week.
It's good to be home.

But, I do notice there was no mention made of how we acquired the fire pit!!!
Tia: there were no pics of you posted because I looked like a toothless crack monkey in the only picture where you and i posed together. As for the firepit: It will be our little secret ha!
