About fenavo

June 19, 2007, our first blind date.  Three years later we’re getting married! (same date and everything)

So here we are twoPortlanders  who met through the most random of encounters to create the lively fenavo family.  And for those of you who do not know, fenavo is not our name, but a meshing our last names a la TomKat and Bennifer.

Lori is the feisty five footer with matching Hispanic heritage and tattoos to prove it.  Shes a bike commuter, a runner, a mama to a nine year old, a lover of cheese, a corporate slave!  Her best of friends refer to her as the TAO (Tiny Angry One).

Michael is the calm one who just tries to keep the TAO in line.  An employee of a Fortune 500 financial services processor he grinds away the day from 8 to 5, but always arrives early because he is anal retentive like that. It annoys TAO beyond belief! Those in the know refer to him as Feegel or Miguel and sometimes even McHale.

Ezra the growing nine year old boy who can’t keep his room clean, but does a decent job on completing his homework and daily chores.  He is quickly overcoming the short stature of the TAO despite her protestations.  His nicknames include, Pez, PezFez, and Eggstraday. (eggstrday is his grandpa’s poor attempt at saying “Ezra Cade”) Ezra is a sensitive one who,  obsesses over legos, burgers with bernaise sauce and cats.  Lately he has turned in to quite the sci-geek.

The Professor is a 1 1/2 half year old kitteh’ who terrorizes the household by snatching food from our plates when no one is looking, attacking unsuspecting feet in the middle of the night, or just demanding attention by sprawling out in front of our laptops when we are trying to type.  **Since moving to the new home the cat (as they are prone to do) ra away from home!  He will be missed.**

On the fourth of July 2009 the Fenavo family added San Juan to the household.  An uber-cute Chihuahua that we bought from a crackhead who recently had been in a streetfight.  Juan can be found galloping about or trying to nap in the crook of your arm.  He’s been with us for a short time but has already won our hearts already!

The fenavo blog is something to make you laugh or cry and possibly something in between.  Some posts are just there to keep family and friends up to date on the trivial or not so trivial fenavo excursions. While other posts are the humorous anecdotes that Lori unleashes upon the internet.  Feel free to comment or share your thoughts.  If you don’t, it might hurt our feelings.

OK, before you go getting all PETA on our asses, the picture below is NOT REAL FUR! We couldn’t afford it even if we felt like affording it!

Enjoy!
