No! No! it’s Pudding On The Rice and we went there yesterday for the first time! I spotted this place a few months ago and it looked like a little piece of rice pudding heaven.  Every time we went to Bridgeport we were usually late for a movie with no time to try it out.

Last night Michael and I dropped Ezra off at a birthday party in Sherwood.  We decided we would  kill time by driving over there.  I annoyingly hummed the tune of “putting on the ritz“ all the way there.  (I have no clue how the man tolerates me sometimes).  It was a party in my mouth, a taste celebration in every bite!  I tried the coconut and Michael got the banana.  Michael found that mixed together they made for a mouth full of awesome!

Oh wait but it get’s better!  We started with a Saturday evening of Mortified at the Someday Lounge.  Miguel insisted that we go to this when he saw it and sounded like fun.  What could be more fun than laughing at teenage angst and insecurity?  My years were certainly filled with them!  The lounge was packed and I had to swallow the bitter pill of telling Miguel he was right…he said we needed to be there early but I passed it off as his usual overzealous timekeeping.  We had to steal a couple seats and sit at the base of stairs with no view of the stage. When the show started I had to stand under a lady’s armpit just to get a view of the stage.  This is him with the smug look of “I told you so.”

  After the show we made a spontaneous decision to head into the last showing of Let the Right One In at Cinema 21.  I hate, hate, hate scary movies but this turned out not to be despite being about a 12 year old vampire.  So cute!  You should really see it, I promise you wont be disappointed.  And speaking of teeth…we are now the proud owners of a Sonicare.  I’ve never used one before and Miguel stood over me like I was picking berries too slow to shout out commands!  “Don’t take it out of your mouth!  Close your mouth!  You are not a mouth breather! I just sat there drooling and staring in the mirror with a bewildered look on my face.  Where I come from,  toothbrushes are purchased  from the dollar store.   In fact,  my mom would probably disown me if she knew that over $100.00 was spent on a toothbrush!
